Seascapes

Seascape: acrylic on canvas, 53 x 44cm

This painting is a homage to Emil Nolde who painted a number of sunsets over the sea. They are operatic and emotional works and I have tried to capture something of this in my version of one of his paintings. The painting is one of a series of seascapes I have done, which are not pictures of a real seascapes but of seascapes of the mind.
