Waking is a ceramic sculpture was inspired by the biomorphic sculptures of Hans Arp. 'Art' said Arp ' is a fruit that grows in man, like a fruit on a plant, or a child in its mother's womb.' It tries to embody the simplicity that underlies the complexity of existence, a simplicity that is pure, pleasing and resonant.
