'What is the body? That shadow of a shadow of your love, that somehow contains the entire universe.' (Rumi) Of all forms in nature the human body is to me the most fascinating. My inspiration for this drawing was a sketch by Gustav Klimt. Part of the mystery of the human body are the feelings and emotions they can communicate. What is she thinking and feeling? All back views challenge us to imagine what the front view of the person might look like. And what is the universe of thought and feeling within?
